- We seek to ensure that Sojitz Building Materials and Sojitz Group corporate officers and employees comply strictly with laws and regulations in Japan and elsewhere, as well as company rules, and conduct themselves with moderation and sound judgment in compliance with social norms.
- We have instituted compliance programs and a code of conduct for compliance and provided a code of conduct for compliance in an effort to carry out and ensure compliance. Sojitz Building Materials and the Sojitz Group also established a Compliance Committee chaired by a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), which carries out efforts to ensure legal compliance and thorough crisis management responses.
- We have appointed a CCO and established a hot line to the Compliance Office in Sojitz Building Materials as part of our various efforts to prevent infractions of corporate regulations in Sojitz Building Materials and the Sojitz Group and to rapidly detect and respond to them.
- Sojitz Building Materials created a Compliance Committee Office home page on the corporate intranet as part of officer and employee education efforts. Sojitz Building Materials and the Sojitz Group will also endeavor to strengthen compliance by carrying out educational programs in the future.
